How to draw traffic to your blog or website

When you start blogging for the first thing you notice is that you would not get amount of views you desire. In many cases the only views you will get is your own.

In the initial days of starting a blog, it is necessary to draw the traffic from other sources through sharing, using subscription plugin, commenting etc.

So, Here i  give you some ideas how you can improve your page views: 

Use social media: 

You can share your latest post on Social Media  like facebook, instagram, whatsapp and twitter. you can also share your blog in forums or write about your blog in your blog related topics in forums.

Re-share:

Re-share or retweet your old post links in social media. many people think that this looks greedy. but believe me as far as your post is still relevant no one care if it is old or new.

Mail subscription:

You can use plugins like mail subscription pop up from addthis.com to make your visitors to subscribe to your blog so that they will get notification every new post. you can also add follow by e-mail gadget in blogger(blogspot).

Sharing plugin:

Make sure that you have sharing buttons at end of your post, otherwise people might not share even if they want to. because many people don't like copying link, open fb, past link and then share. All they want is simple sharing button. you can use addthis.com plugin.

Share link in other similar blog's comment section:

Comment on blog articles related to your blog and suggest a reading to others there (Not all blogs allow post links in comment).

Use Quora:

you can start writing answers on Quora and add your blog address to your credentials (in profile section of quora) therefor if someone sees your answer they see your website/blog too and might click on that out of curiosity.

Invest in promotion:

If you think your audience uses social media, then you can spend some money as little as 20$ to boost your post's reach. and that way you can gain some extra permanent audience for your blog.
(Note:If you want to promote your post please choose your post carefully. you don't want to wast your hard earn money in any useless interest less post).



At last keep one thing in mind, Initial days of blogging is very hard. you get few page views. But never loose hope. Believe in your self guys! it will get better and better.
