Shutdown Computer Automatically On Your Scheduled Time

Many time we forget to shutdown our computer due to sleep or anything else. When we awake then we see that our computer still the same. Interesting thing is that many of us has habit to sleep down while working on computer without shut down. But there is solution for these type of peoples to shut down computer automatically.

Yes, you can shutdown your computer automatically on your scheduled time.

How?? Lets See,

1. Open Task scheduler app:

For windows 10 or windows 8, click start button or press win key, then search task scheduler and click on task scheduler app.

For windows 7 go to Control panel > System and security > Administrative tools > Task scheduler

2. click create basic task in action panel.

then the new window will be open named "create basic task wizard"

 3. in the name field type "shutdown timer"

 and click next.

4. Select how often you want to shutdown your computer.

 for example choose daily, if you want to shut down your pc daily at a specific time.

 or choose one time if you want to do this only one time.

5. Enter date and time.

 Then click next.

6. Select start program.

 and then click next.

7. Then past location written below to the program/script field.

 "C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe"

 8.Type /s into the "add argument field"

and then click next.

 9. Then click finish button.
